Investigation requests went to the District of Columbia and New York, and a charter cancellation request went to Delaware. The White House controls none of the three offices.
Only the Trump organization could turn a national celebration into a federal grift. I think plenty of people caught on to it including the attempt to relabel events. All the entertainers who pulled out of events were wise to it. I know that there was genuine excitement about the bicentennial in 1976 including special models of cars and commemorative coins. None of that excitement is evident this year. I hope there are legal consequences for this illegal hijacking of a national celebration. This is not Trumpnation.
As we all know, Trump has spent his entire “professional career” creating a false impression, a narcissistic delusion of grandeur, grifting, conning, stealing, lying with impunity about who he is and what a successful businessman he’s always been.
Once a conman grifter, always a conman grifter.
And now he’s made it clear that his next project is having his face carved on Mount Rushmore. It’s unimaginable. Horrendous.
One can hope that trump’s MAGA cult members are finally realizing they’ve been duped and have had enough.
I remember my town was building a connector street, and even though the existing parts were called 19th street, they named that part of it Bicentennial, (which is really obnoxious in a town with numbered streets one direction and alphabetical streets the other direction).
I did learn last week that they minted a special quarter, and even some extra special ones for those struck on 4th of July.
Mr. Armitage. On behalf of your readers, the majority of Americans, and the world, I thank you profusely for undertaking the Herculean task of ending the unadulterated venality of Trump and his notorious family.
The spectacle of Donald Trump, his immediate family, and a curated menagerie of court sycophants systematically reducing the presidency to a private ATM is a degradation without precedent in the history of the Republic.
To watch the hallowed machinery of the White House—an institution forged in the crucible of Enlightenment ideals—be so casually usurped and refashioned into a family-run kleptocracy is to witness a profound, historic betrayal.
Since 1776, the American experiment has wrestled with various species of political corruption, but never before has it endured avarice quite so naked, quite so vulgar, and quite so utterly devoid of shame.
They have not merely crossed ethical boundaries; they have dynamited them, accumulating private fortunes on the public dime with the brazen confidence of third-world autocrats. It is an offense not just to the rule of law, but to the very concept of civic decency.
One is left not merely disappointed, but thoroughly revolted by the sheer, gargantuan scale of their self-enrichment.
This is an important piece because state courts remain the one venue beyond the reach of a pardon. The Manafort point deserves the most attention: once a federal plea goes through, CPL 40.20 bars New York from prosecuting, which turns the entire question into a race to the courthouse. I hope the state AGs read this before the DOJ works out the same conclusion.
Obviously, Trump’s corrupt DOJ will NEVER investigate him and/or hold him accountable for ANYTHING. And whether the republican Congress will ever decide to push back, impeach, indict prosecute, and finally remove him from office, once and for all, has so far been a nonstarter.
So it’s truly up to us, WE THE PEOPLE, to stand united and declare “ENOUGH ALEADY”!
Mr. Armitage, with respect to Virginia that you briefly mentioned, is there a similar communication being made to our AG at this time?
Our Commonwealth, being adjacent to Washington would most likely have been a source of funds too.
The magnitude of wire fraud in what is alleged here would certainly raise the ire of our citizens and should be included if it rises to any level subject to prosecution. Virginians don't take kindly to being hornswoggled by grifters.
I'd say it's worth making the request right now. I didn't include Virginia yet because I want some more details to come out first. I think it's likely VA banks are involved and when that comes to light it'll be a much stronger referral. I believe it still merits constitutent outreach in the interim.
Thank you for every effort in this. I suspected that there might have been something hinky about two parallel efforts towards the same end and damn if wasn't going on as just another grift. It's astounding that they are so brazen to take the effort to try and do it to begin with, especially in plain sight, but they are strident in their efforts to “ flood the zone” and trash our economy, our pursuit of happiness and wreck our legal system in one concerted effort.
My thoughts when I read through the article was the banking in VA being so tied in with NOVA and Richmond to Washington. As always, follow the money. Thanks again. Keep up the good work!
That's a well documented propaganda tactic; to keep ppl feeling hopeless and overwhelmed. It's all bullshit. Remember that when you start feeling down.
Chris, do you maintain a simple index of actions we can take -- with a short description, sorted by type of actions -- with links back to your posts.... or can your folks start one? That would help with actions we've missed that are still relevant and for new followers.
We are working on a website to do that. It's volunteers making it happen and they're doing an incredible job to build the infrastructure for a good launch.
Wow this is the fast action that needs to be done right 👍👍.. I read every letter and I hope that the exact entities of each district can be just as fast acting..New York for instance..
Thank you for explaining this process..lol I'm not a lawyer but I damn sure understood this needs to be addressed
Hey Christopher - sending you a coffee gift, I apologize that it's not a bigger gift, but tell us, what can we do to help? Is there a summary of today's actions and we could email our Senators or AG to spread the word?
Thanks for all you do to help us know what's happening, and understand where the corruption lies.
This weekend the Drey Dossier revealed her suspicions about Trumps obsession with the Reflecting Pool being tied to water infrastructure into a data center bunker under the East Wing. It's all a diversion from the Epstein files and the Elite oligarchs trying to take over our government.
Trump is lying about the Reflecting Pool - Drey Dossier (7/3/26) *watch video*
I'd say it would be fantastic if you sent this to your U.S. House Representative and asked them to publicly support further investigation into the matter and to immediately refer discovery of potential violations of criminal statutes to the states that can proceed with their own investigations and prosecutions.
That would be fantastic. I should have added that to the piece but was on a tight deadline based on things I'm juggling so thank you for asking!
Thanks for the contribution and I'll do my best to be of use 🌲🌲🌲

Beautifully written! Well said and I concur!
I was just headed over to send thanks on this day ( and every day) for all you do. Fighting the horror of it.

That's my thinking too.. let's hope
Todd Blanche repped manafort getting state charges dropped.
Send a letter to draw his attention to this fact.
Mr. Armitage, you are my hero. I applaud all that you do and send your writings to my friends. You really give me hope.
You're my hero, Sally. Because you're showing up, want the world to be a better place, and are ready to meet the moment.
I'm honored to be on the same team as you and all these other awesome folks 🌲 🌲 🌲
Concur, you are one of my heroes also Mr Armitage in this fight.
These are great - Please let us know if you get any response other than the formal reply's
Will do 👍
I truly appreciate everything you are doing to enforce our rule of law and the courage you show for our democracy. Thank you!
Excellent news!

They are brazen because of the court's immunity ruling and power of the pardon.
You should see the other details coming out regarding infrastructure. Drey follows the money (and water): https://thedreydossier.substack.com/p/trump-is-lying-about-the-reflecting
I like the fix mentality instead of the media's complain mentality.
Absolutely. Most media just makes people feel hopeless and disempowered. There's a better way.
That's a well documented propaganda tactic; to keep ppl feeling hopeless and overwhelmed. It's all bullshit. Remember that when you start feeling down.
Get on this folks! Move this along. Help the rest of us out! Please.

I'm willing to help, with respect to QA at least. Contact me via DM.
Appreciate it, I'll send a DM
I'm a new follower and yes this is a great idea.. I want to follow the progress for sure

Wonderful! Let's get these states to exercise their authority.
THANK YOU!!
